Microblading is a tattoo-based treatment that uses a precision handheld blade to draw individual hair-strokes into the upper layer of the skin. Each stroke follows the direction of your own hair growth, so the result reads like real brows in real light.

It's the right treatment for normal-to-dry skin, where strokes hold their shape and stay crisp. If your skin runs oilier, an ombré or combination brow tends to settle better. We can talk through both at your consultation.

You can always add. You can't easily take away. So I design quietly first.

Every brow is mapped by hand, pencilled in, and shown to you before any pigment touches the skin. You sit up, you look, we adjust. We don't begin until you're happy.

A topical numbing cream keeps the treatment comfortable, and we check in with you throughout. A follow-up at four to six weeks is included in your fee. That's when the colour settles and the final shape comes through.

What your appointment looks like

01
Arrive, settle in

A cup of tea, a chat, and a final medical check and consent. We talk through what you'd like, look at reference photos, and agree the shape we're aiming for.

02
Mapping & design

Brows are measured and drawn on with pencil, then refined in the mirror until they're symmetrical and suited to your features. We don't move on until you're happy.

03
Numbing & first pass

A topical numbing cream is applied. The first pass of strokes is drawn in slowly, each one following the direction of your natural hair growth.

04
Second pass & pigment

We deepen the colour and refine the spacing, then let the skin settle. You sit up to check the result and we make any final adjustments.

05
Aftercare & home

Photos, written aftercare, and a small kit to take with you. We book your follow-up before you leave and check in by message during healing.

A few things worth knowing

Does microblading hurt?+

Most clients describe it as a 2–3 out of 10, a light scratching sensation rather than a sharp pain. A topical numbing cream is applied at the start and reapplied during the treatment, and we check in with you the whole way through.

How long does it last?+

Microblading typically lasts 12–18 months before a colour refresh is needed. With proper aftercare and the included follow-up, you'll get the best longevity, oilier skin tends to fade faster than dry.

Will it look natural?+

That's the brief. Each stroke is drawn in the direction of your real hair, and we'd rather build softly on day one and add at the follow-up than try to remove anything later. The healed result should look like brows, not tattoos.

What about healing?+

The first 7–14 days are a gentle process: brows look darker before they soften, then go slightly patchy as the skin heals. By around week four the final shape and colour have settled. You'll receive written aftercare and a small kit on the day.

Who can't have it?+

If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, have certain active skin conditions, or are under 18, we'll need to wait. If you take blood-thinning medication, tell us at booking and we'll advise: never stop prescribed medication without speaking to your GP. A full list is on the medical form sent before your appointment.
