Lip
blush
A considered wash of natural colour, barely-there, or fuller and defined.

Lip blush is a soft wash of colour tattooed into the lips to enhance their natural shape, even out tone, and give the illusion of fuller, more defined lips. It's colour that lives in the lip, not a lipstick line drawn around it.
The shade is custom colour-matched in studio to complement your natural lip tone, from a barely-there "my lips but better" flush to a richer, more defined finish. We look at it against your skin before we commit.
Colour that reads as you on a good day, not makeup you have to maintain.
Your lips are outlined and shaped first for symmetry and precision, then colour is applied in gentle layers. A topical numbing keeps the treatment comfortable throughout.
A follow-up at four to six weeks is included. Lips heal quickly and fade lighter than you'd expect, so this session brings the final colour and evenness through. No more smudged lipstick, no daily reapplication.
What your appointment looks like
Tea, a chat, and a medical check, including your cold-sore history so antivirals can be arranged beforehand if you need them. We discuss your lip goals, the shade you're drawn to, and the overall look you want.
We outline the lips for symmetry and colour-match your shade in studio, checking it against your natural tone until it's right.
Numbing is applied, then the first layer of colour is worked gently into the lip, building tone evenly across the shape.
We layer to the depth you agreed and blend for a natural, even finish. You sit up to check the colour in good light.
Photos, written lip aftercare and a small kit. We book your follow-up and check in through the first week as the colour settles.

A few things worth knowing
What if I get cold sores?+
Tell us at booking. Any lip tattooing can wake up the cold-sore virus, so if you have ever had one you will need antiviral tablets from your GP or pharmacist, usually started the day before your appointment and continued for a few days after. It is a simple precaution and it keeps your healing clean. If you have an active cold sore on the day we will rebook you, with no fee lost.
Does lip blush hurt?+
Most clients describe a mild tingling or pressure rather than pain. A numbing cream is applied before and reapplied during the treatment to keep you comfortable.
What does the healing look like?+
Lips look darker and more vibrant for the first few days, then peel and fade noticeably around days four to seven. Colour returns gradually over the following weeks, with the final healed result settling by around four to six weeks.
How long does it last?+
Lip blush typically lasts 1–2 years before a colour refresh. A top-up every year or so keeps it looking its best with minimal upkeep.
Can I choose a bolder colour?+
Colour is matched to enhance your natural lips, so results always look wearable, but we can go softer or richer within that. We'll agree the shade together before starting.
Will it help with uneven tone?+
Yes. Lip blush is lovely for evening out patchy or pale lip colour and gently redefining shape, giving a healthier, more balanced finish even without lipstick.
