Every brow is measured, mapped and pencilled in first, then agreed with you in the mirror before any pigment touches the skin. Strokes follow the direction of your own hair growth, so the healed result looks like brows, not tattoos.

It is a fair question: why drive 45 minutes for brows? Because microblading lasts well over a year, so the right artist matters more than the nearest one. Clients come up the A38 for hand-mapping, honest skin advice and a follow-up visit that is included in the price. We also see clients from Ivybridge, Plympton and along the A38.

From £395 with Georgie, £445 with Gemma. Free consultation and included follow-up.

Microblading is a tattoo-based treatment that uses a precision handheld blade to draw individual hair-strokes into the upper layer of the skin, each one following your natural hair growth.

It suits normal-to-dry skin best and typically lasts 12 to 18 months before a colour refresh. The included follow-up at four to six weeks is when the colour settles and the final shape comes through.

Microblading FAQs

How far is the studio from Plymouth?+

It is in Newton Abbot, about 32 miles from Plymouth and usually around 45 minutes up the A38. There is free parking on site at the racecourse.

Why travel from Plymouth for microblading?+

Microblading lasts over a year, so the right artist matters more than the nearest one. Every brow here is hand-mapped and agreed with you before pigment, with an included follow-up to perfect the result.

How long does microblading last?+

Typically 12 to 18 months before a colour refresh is needed. Oilier skin tends to fade faster than dry, and good aftercare plus the included follow-up gives you the best longevity.

What is healing like?+

The first one to two weeks are a gentle process. Brows look darker at first, soften, then go slightly patchy as the skin heals. By around week four the final shape and colour have settled.

Who can't have microblading?+

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have certain active skin conditions, or are under 18, we will need to wait. If you take blood-thinning medication, tell us at booking and we will advise: never stop prescribed medication without speaking to your GP. The medical form sent before your appointment has the full list.
